About me:

Omid Singh Omid has lived in over 15 houses all over the world, and he’s only 19. His comedy reflects his diverse upbringing as he sheds light on what he believes society is truly about. Born in San Diego, raised in the tiny, but filthy-rich Dubai in the Middle East, and making stops in places like po-dunk Texas and my-mom-got-remarried-so-we-moved Connecticut, Omid has always been an entertainer, whether it be as a talent show host, a kid in his dads turban singing only the best bollywood hits, or a stand up comedian opening for Jim Gaffigan. Omid has also had extensive improvisation training with “Comedy Sportz”, winning several competitions and garnering praise from all the girls in their short shorts at Irvine High School- he’s sure you’ve heard of it. At the ripe age of 18, he was invited to perform at the world famous "Comedy Store" in Los Angeles, making him the youngest comic to ever perform on the main room stage. In 2007, Omid competed with thousands of college age comics in the "Jimmy Kimmel College Comedy Contest" and placed 4th in the nation as voted by students all over the United States. He received the title of "Funniest College Comic in California" securing him a spot to perform on the program "The Jimmy Kimmel Show.”, while also dubbed The "Funniest Comic in Orange County" title from his home club, The Irvine Improv in 2008. Today, Omid lives in New York City where he is a regular performer at "Stand Up NY" and "The Broadway Comedy Club" and opened for Christian Finnegan (VH1 Best Week Ever) and comedian Jim Gaffigan on his Beyond the Pale Tour in New York.
