Beau Powell- vocals, guitar, bass, hand drums
"...Powell's voice is smooth and soulful. His vocals are emotive and stirring, at times velvety with a little umph. Just when you think you've pegged his multifaceted sound, you haven't." Chelsea Kerwath- vocals, guitar, hand drums, keys"Kerwath touches each note tenaciously, with ribbons of femininity curling around Powell's words, sometimes following, occasionally leading, but always flowing."-Jan Randler of WORKMAGAZINE

OminOtagO in WORKMAGAZINE (last year)
Here are some highlights from the article...
"Two talented kids, living a musician's ultimate dream... dedicating the days to writing and rehearsing and performing at night."
"Playing classic rock laced with pop, blues, funk and reggae, this duo knows how to rock the house. Their sound may be acoustic, but their energy is electric."
~Article by Jan Randler: editor for the WORKMAGAZINE Music, Restaurants, Clubs department.

~"An electric chemistry among musicians is typically difficult to come by. Finding people who share the same passion, talent and dedication can take years, but for the members of OminOtagO, the journey to complementary counterparts was quick."
-Angie Castlebury of The Richmond Times Dispatch (Jan.5th, 2006)

BIO: Formed in 2003, Beau Powell & Chelsea Kerwath began touring locally as an acoustic duo- eventually playing enough to quit their jobs and go full-time as musicians. They met at The Watermelon Festival in Carytown, fell in love instantly-- and got married this year. In 2004, OminOtagO recorded their first cd, "White Buffalo" in Beau's dad's garage. Soon after, OminOtagO hired a bassist and drummer to record the new album, "A Minute Ago" over the span of a couple years. Matty Volkes & Stu Hutton's musical contributions added depth and dynamics to their recordings. You can see OminOtagO live in Virginia and North Carolina regularly and soon in New York and California to promote the new cd. Go to www.ominotago.com for current local (Richmond area) show listings!

UGH! It's just that he picks the damnedest (I know it's not a word) times to take a nap. I am STARVING and I didn't plan on cooking because my dad gave us a gift certificate to go to Ruby Tuesday and we had plans to go. I tried to wake him up over an hour ago and he's still laying there. I'm moving on from annoyed to pissed off! anywayz, it went good. We got stuff for our wii. How was yours? know what sucks? that IM supposed to be the one that knows about "web-stuff" and your profile is better than mine? Maybe I should just let you take care of mine like mom does Dan's...ohh, that reminds me, speaking of mom; i finally got her to start taking those surveys online like i'm doing, cuz i know the extra money sure comes in handy. you should really try em. i mean, if i got mom to try it, psh, i can get anybody to, heh..i guess you'll have to type the link into internet explorer or whatever, but here it is:
