The main theme in Ominous Grief’s lyrics is black in color. Some are of the supernatural but mainly they are merciless expressions of hopelessness, loneliness, and longings in life adapted to a world beyond death where wanders the solitary spirit of the forgotten one. A soul that is totally left alone in fears and dragged after the things in which it sees eternal peace provides the main character for the lyrics.
There are bonds between the lyrics and the atmosphere created by Ominous Grief’s music. But this is reflected in different ways in the songs. Sometimes they tell you of spiritual darkness, sometimes of the lands in the eternal – nightside. But doesn’t matter what they tell, all end with what is forever there…. Grief.
