My big goal is just to get people to read it, there are so many books being put out now it's hard to spot the good ones.
This page has grown so much this last year and the friends we have are very active. Yeah, I said 'we' - my 17 year old son Jacob does a share of the work for the web presence. Joe (that's me) answers all email and writes blogs. Jacob looks at and answers comments, he also responds to friend requests. I like this system - it gives me culpable deniability!
I have the weird habit of collecting and watching documentaries. I have about 400 now. Which means I can tell you lots of out of the way history facts; like – Over 3000 years ago the Mesopotamians did these three thing first (in order) – First mass production of Beer, Second 40% of grain was used for beer, and Third the first ‘Drunk and Disorderly’ laws on record (stone tablet actually).
