Bio:

Omnivore is Glenna Van Nostrand, a performance artist with a focus on sound art and early telecommunications. Through the use of circuit bent instruments such as telephones, radios, and telegraphs, Omnivore mimics the timbre of the modern era while resonating a parallelism between language, technology, and communication. With avant-garde noise and ambient pop leanings in the vein of Laurie Anderson, Jessica Rylan, Cocteau Twins, and SWV, Omnivore consumes and digests these familiar sounds to spark a dialogue between the human voice and mechanical rhythm.
