A sprinkling of Christopher Guest and Ridley Scott and we've got ourselves a blockbuster!

    ..recently finished a great historical linguistics book called EMPIRES OF THE WORD. Before that was George RR Martin's A FEAST FOR CROWS and prior to that, Ursula K LeGuin's THE LEFT HAND OF DARKNESS. Done with John LeCarre's A PERFECT SPY (wonderful) and Christopher Moore's COYOTE BLUE. Now reading Neal Stephenson's CRYPTONOMICON.
