Ai Onae started playing guitar as a junior high school student. She quickly devoted herself to music, playing both solo and with a full band at clubs as a high school student in her local city, Toyama. During this time, she met Makoto Sakaki at a show of his band, nudge'em all, in Niigata. In May, 2006 She handed her demo to Makoto, who loved her work and wound up working her on a new 4-songs demo.
After graduating from college, Ai moved to Tokyo. Pursuing a number of musical projects, besides her solo work as Ai Onae, she has joined ROCKET K as a guitarist and backing vocalist. ROCKET K's new album『TIME MACHINE RK』, as recorded last April, will be released last August.
V.A『GOOD GIRLS DON'T! NEO』(K.O.G.A Records) and V.A『DROP』 (Universal Music) that collects 「ボクらのセカイ(Our world)」 both put the sound source on the market in September, 2007. The demonstration sound source of three songs collection is putting it on the market in a live hall.
