Though I learned how to tap into my true potential by listening and learning from the forementioned artists, in the beginning, I learned how to sing and obtained a passion for it by listening to r&b artists such as, Jagged Edge, Jesse Powell and Brian McKnight.
One Body is a group defined by I Corinthians 12. The body of Christ is purposed to imitate the design of the human body. Every part is necessary to accomplish daily tasks. The feet and legs can walk but they require the sight and direction of the eyes and mind. One Body has set out to make the world aware of the purpose of the body of Christ and how to bring the many parts together.
Today One Body is promoting the release of a second album titled, “One Body Vol. 2: The Introduction.” On this album the lead performer, Darius Jones, and his co-laborers combine their experiences to simplify the word of God. The ultimate goal of this project is to introduce Jesus Christ to all who don’t know Him.
One Body was started in Alamogordo, New Mexico by Darius Jones in 2005. At the time, Darius only had a vision with no means to bring it to past. Shortly after, Darius’ close friend Adrian Mask, submitted his talents and equipment to the vision. In 2006, One Body released their first album titled, One Body Volume One. In 2008 Darius started the independent record label known as, Rhythm and Word Ministries and coined the phrase, “A Place Where Praise and Worship is a Lifestyle.”
