Good music, Spending quality time with family & friends, Travel, snow skiing, Spa treatments, USC Football (FightOn!!!) salsa dancing, writing, singing with Sacred Praise Chorale @Faithful Central (SPC - Viva Los Altos!), live theatre, games (scrabble, monopoly, Taboo, Cash Flow) watching my daughter grow beautifully day by day. (she's like my favorite TV show, I could watch her all the time!!!)

SOUL music!, R&B, Gospel, Jazz, Ol' School 80's-90's HipHop/Rap, show tunes (yep!), classical , any ol' soul records( Rufus w/Chaka Khan, Donnie Hathaway, Emotions, Earth Wind & Fire, Isley Bros, Frankie Beverly & Maze, etc.)... I like the real deal artists w/real bands and vocals, not that manufactured stuff they try to feed us on radio. IF IT'S "GOOD" FOR MY SOUL, IT'S MY KIND OF MUSIC... period. My taste in music runs the spectrum and I still enjoy my classic James Taylor, Santana, Tears for Fears (what?!! Shout, shout, let it all out!) Then there are musical geniouses whose music is just remarkable and indescribable like Vinx, Maritri, KarlaScott, Frank McComb and I'm also diggin' new schoolers w/ol' school soul like Algebra Blessett, Eric Roberson (good lawd!), Lizz Wright and many others. In time, the world will know what I know! Sang, y'all!

Okay, now for that other stuff... i am a television writer/producer(The Parkers, Jamie Foxx,Image Awards, One On One, and more), CEO of OneAccord Productions, Inc., creating projects for TV/Film/Stage that will encourage, inspire as well as entertain folks of all walks of life. I am completing a screenplay and have two TV shows in development and hope to share them all with you REAL soon!
I am also an author (Real Soul Food & Other Poetic Recipes, pub. '95) and completing my second book (my next volume of p o e t r y & essays), and a performance poet, performing periodically with the "Poetry In The Key of Love Collective", a group of amazing sisterfriends I met while living in the DC metro area over ten years ago and we've been friends ever since. Our description: A graceful poet’s written/spoken expression infused with the beauty of an eclectic group of classically trained musicians/vocalists, create a sweet symphony for the soul. Literally speaking… a unique experience blending strings and keys, melody, harmony and poetry.
I am still evolving as a woman/child of God and truly grateful for each day. My sweet daughter Amali Christine keeps me laughing, inspired and motivated to be the best I can be. I love to watch her just be. Oh, and I Love COOL hats!
