"Sounds like a modern day version of The Mack soundtrack." – BPM Magazine
What will happen if you had a musical gumbo with Dillaesque Hip Hop, Funkadelic grooves and the soul of Motown in its glory days? You will end up with the newest addition to OM's Hip Hop roster called simply The One. With The One on the vocals and Geoffrey on production, the outcome is some of the most satisfying evidence to prove that Hip Hop isn't dead; in fact it's alive in any vocal booth where these inseparable musicians meet. But don't make the mistake of just believing that this is just a soul vocalist or Hip Hop artist. The One will rightfully object. "I'm not here to make R&B music, or neo soul or any preconceived notion of what people want music to be…,if I feel like death metal polka I will make some death metal polka the One way." His release entitled "SuperPsychoSexy" embodies the love of all musical genres in such a funky sexy manner that an orgy or two may pop off at any moment when songs like "Milk Shake Thick" or "Pistol Whipped" blast from the speakers. Not much is known about The One, and with good reason. Being an artists' artist, he believes that the music should speak in ways that casually speaking about it won't do it any justice. Coupled with the synergy from the production of Geoffrey, in which The One admits is like "his evil twin", comes a complete artist not afraid to expand past any musical boundaries. The secret? He figures they don't exist in the first place.
