I like guns. Yeah...I know that's weird, but I like them. Target shooting is a blast...pun intended. I also like muscle cars...I have a 68 Malibu. And cooking...I love to cook and I'm darned good at it. And I love wine. I grew up just outside of the Napa Valley and the wine country is still one of my favorite places to go. I'm mostly a Cabernet kind of girl. I love playing Scrabble. And last but not least...COMEDY.Music
I love lots of different kinds of music. From Glen Miller to Dean Martin to the Beatles. I listen to K-Earth pretty much every day. I like most variations of Rock. My favorite band these days is "Come Together" (yeah...I know...they're Fake Beatles...but what the Hell).

I love Clint Eastwood Movies...all the Autsin Power stuff...really love Robin Hood, Men in Tights. Never miss a good Dean Martin/Jerry Lewis Movie on the Old Movie Channel. Brave Heart was awesome. I thought the Da Vinci Code was well done...but as usual I liked the book a little better. I think you "get" the movie better if you've read the book. Mostly I like stuff that makes me laugh, but I have varied tastes. A Cary Grant movie with a nice glass of Cabernet...I'm in Heaven.Television
I don't watch very much TV. I don't really know what most of the current prime time stuff is. I hate reality TV...it's NOT REAL people!!! I like the old movie channels, TVLand...stuff like that. And yeah...I know that's not real either.Books
I love to read. I am totally hooked on Nora Roberts writing as J.D. Robb...The Death Series. Awesome. I tend to vacillate between smutty romance novels and stuff like Dean Koontz. There's no rhyme or reason to my reading choices.Heroes
My Mom...if you knew her you'd know why. My friend Suzanna...she's just always on my side. Lord Carrett, comedian...he is a treasure. My Wicked Blonde friend Laurie...she's my rock. Deb...she just loves so much. Shelita...she's a great listener, and sometimes I need that. Amy...she's very brave. Aunt Penny who passed away much too young...she rescued me once. Miss Julie for reminding me it's OK to be a Girl. Karen for thinking I'm her hero. My son for reminding me to Laugh at a time when I forgot how. Jimmy for being the best Dad I've ever met. Michelle for loving the difference. Let's just say that all my friends and loved one's are my hero's in some way.

Well...what can I say about myself? Most people would not consider me boring. I've been around the block a couple of times. I'm a veteran...an ex-cop...I've driven in the demolition derby...I belong to the NRA. And that's just for starters. I've started doing a little Stand Up Comedy here and there. I love hanging out with comedians. They are fun and interesting people...always thinking. I have worked for the government in one capacity ot another most of my adult life. And yes...I own guns and camouflage clothing...be afraid...be very afraid. I have one son, and he is my main source of pride. He's 26, and just finished six years of service to his country in the Navy aboard a Nuclear Submarine. I can't wait to see what he does with his civilian life.Details
