One Family est fondée en 2006 a Lyon par trois jeunes youth passionés de reggae music . ( Chalwa,SnIpa, & Bangi qui depuis a quitter le sound)
Addikt du rise up show depuis 2003 , le crew est avant tout " specialisé " dans la vibe outta jamaica et plus particulièrement celle des Virgin Islands .
C'est donc au rythme de l'emission dominicale de Neeko que le sound voit le jour .
Le nom One Family est choisi suite a la découverte du tune de million voice : one family - qui va par la suite devenir l'anthem du sound !
Les projets s'accumulent , et les premières dubplates également , Sista Hites rejoint le crew et la family s'aggrandit .
Longtemps resté dans l'obscurité , la family créent son propre myspace et commence a etablir des connections solides avec d'autres activistes du
mouvement reggae .
Toujours basé sur un message conscient , le crew s'oriente vers une mission de promotion a l'égard des artistes upcoming et
des récents styles de reggae immergeant de par le monde .
Bien que specialisé en new roots ,la Box s'internationalise pour laisser place a un veritable eventail de styleallant du Ska/Rocksteady jusqu'au brand new d'aujourd'hui.
Dorénavant le sound continue l'aventure en trio , et concretise ses projets ( distribution gratuit d'un promomix 100% trinidad and tobago prévu pour mi septembre,dubplates d'artistes upcoming,et la mise en place de la webradio One Family Station )
Le crew commence aussi a booker quelques dates , notament une big night prévue le 22 septembre a sisteron avec le creation stepper sound et le bam bam stereo hi fight !!
Tout cela n'aurait pas été possible sans toutes les personnes que l’on a rencontré depuis le début de l’aventure .

For this release we teamed up with top producer Jr. Blender and created a classical dancehall reggae riddim that is a link between the apart drifting genres Dancehall and Reggae.
The production has 14 Tracks and features some household names such as Gentleman, Luciano, Louie Culture, Lady G as well as newcomers as Nkulee Dube, the daughter of Reggae legend Lucky Dube, who performs her first Reggaesong on the Aspire riddim.
