One foot in the groove records was founded of DJs Tony Walker and Marc Dennis, both are veterans in the world of house. The label was originally launched to showcase their own productions, but things have progressed so rapidly that other established vocalists, musicians and producers have been quick to get involved.
Since the 2005 launch of one foot in the groove the label, their tracks have been championed by some of the most renowned DJs and have been doing serious d-floor damage at venues around the world. The labels tracks can be found in boxes and cd wallets of some of the biggest names in the industry.
As DJs, label bosses Tony and Marc have never pigeon hold them selves to one style of house and the label very much reflects their theory… “if its good music, it will fit on our label” and this eclectic style is reflected in the releases and remixes from one foot in the groove. The label has already enlisted the vocals talents of Ron Carroll and Soulfuric’s Alexis Hall. With more collaborations with some of the worlds most prestigious vocal talents and producers in the pipeline, the label looks set to be a consistent name to look for in quality house music.
