One Happy Island is an indiepop band from Boston with sloppy DIY tendencies. Chief exports include handclaps, ukulele strings, harmonicas, bittersweetly jangley ballads, furiously unfocused kazoo solos, and unashamed lo-fi recordings. It is the intention of Shannon, Rebecca, Clint, and Brad to take their songcraft and melodies to new levels of fun, fun, and fun.
Available now! New limited-edition compilation CD (not CD-R!) containing all three of our EPs: One Happy Island (Self-released, originally limited to 100 copies), Pulaski Park(WeePop, originally limited to 120 copies), and Secret Party That The Other Party Doesn't Know About (WeePop, CD originally limited to 120 copies, blue vinyl seven-inch originally limited to 400 copies).

I have been listening to your album pretty much constantly since we played together and I love it! The lyrics and the harmonies are lovely . We will definitely let you know if/when we get to the US as a band as it would be really good to do a gig with you in Boston.
We're so glad that you made it in time to play at the Norfolk Inn and your set was fab! We'll see you at Indietracks - Rocker knows a good curry house in the vicinity! - Pete and Ian.

Actually, KVRX isn't affiliated with KOOP other than sharing the frequency. So, feel free to send anything...info is on my profile. I have one song of yours that I'm planning to play on What's A Girl to Do THIS Monday from a SXSW Compilation, I think. Do you have Austin ties?
