The second annual ONE IS THE WATER Festival will take place in October of this year over four nights at the BeatNiq Jazz and social Club.
Why “ One is the water (not the fish)” ? Often in the world of free improvisation we refer to collective improvisation, where groups perform spontaneously together, the concept of the individual (the fish), becomes a hindrance, one must surrender to the collective (the water) to become a part of the musical awareness. A musical surrender to something much greater, that is beyond the individual.

Excellent show tonight guys. It is, at times, easy to forget that there IS something else out there; it's easy forget that there's music out there with a truly human component. Your music had that human quality tonight.
