|
| Bio | Kacey Arnold is a nice Jewish girl from Westchester, New York, but dont hold that against her. She graduated NYUs Tisch School of the Arts with a BFA in Film and Television Production, which has not done much for her career, so there is no need to hold that against her either. But it did put her in Manhattan where she started doing comedy at Stand-Up New York. To the great joy of Kaceys friends and family, comedy gave her a voice for her ever-ready opinions. Like many other slaves to the industry Kacey moved to Los Angeles to pursue a television career, but she did not give up on her stand up roots.
Repeatedly called blunt, Kacey believes you shouldnt ask if you dont want to know. She uses the stage to speak these truths, namely the differences between men and women, the foolish things she has done and heard in relationships and whatever other drama is plaguing her at the time. Who’s going to say no to a franchise?). "The Fat Flush Plan" (the inner workings of the body intrigue me... not that the outer parts can’t ne nice too.) The Te Tao Ching... About me:
KACEY ARNOLD
(Writer/Actor/Standup)
She's blunt, she's sassy, she's Kacey. Kacey went to NYU where she earned a BFA in film/tv production which did nothing for her but earn her some miles on her credit card... She then started comedy in NY at Stand-UP NY where a great teacher, Tim Davis, "convinced me that I could be funny on stage and not just with my friends"... and ever since she was hooked.
For years now, Kacey has been bringing her silly yet brash style of comedy to the page and to the stage. Her stand-up you can catch weekly all over Los Angeles and her writing as well. (Well her writing is technically in the trunk of her car, but it's still all over Los Angeles.)
"I talk a lot about dating and the differences between how men and women communicate... no I'm not bitter and whiny... i just come from a therapist and a paranoid schizophrenic so i am well rounded."

Jerry Seinfeld, Ellen DeGeneres, Martha Stewart, Madonna, Princess Di, Bill Clinton, Billy Corrigan, Jay Kaye... my future husband (not Jay, altho I do think he is talented, just the man worthy of spending the rest of my life with me), anyone who can make me laugh, quality people who are say what they mean and mean what they say, adventurous people who like to try new things (but aren't so crazy we'll wind up getting killed), a travel buddy, people who think, people who care, someone to challenge me, someone who can not only handle my incessant rambling but appreciate it! i could go on...
