The One Nine Crew was a six-piece band that used its unique instrumentation to provide a new and modern rock music experience. The music we played was a style that combined influences of rock, hip-hop, pop, and a bit of funk and soul. The combination of these styles produced music that could be accepted in the rock scene and the pop scene. Our diverse song writing provided tunes with both the musicality and drive to make people move, dance, and sing along.
We first formed in April of 2001 and grew to have a huge fan base that stretched well beyond our friends and family. We played throughout South Jersey as well as into New York and Pennsylvania.
On in Five was our first album and was completely self-produced. We had recorded smaller demos on our own before, but we knew it was time to go for the real deal and put together a full album. We packed the CD to the brim (75 minutes total playing time) so that we could give our fans as much music for their money as possible. We are still very proud of On in Five, and it'll always be part of out musical history.

By the summer of 2006, everything in our lives, including our sound, had changed and matured into something different. After a lot of consideration, we made the decision to move on from the One Nine Crew and form a new band, Lucky Friday. Sean decided to not continue on with us so that he could pursue his love of teaching. With Lucky Friday, we are dreaming big and doing everything we can to make it to the top.
The One Nine Crew will always be part of our lives! Thanks for being part of it, and we hope that you will move on with us. Rock on!
