One Note Records was set up in 2003 by The New Mastersounds, initially as a vehicle for the band's releases. Run by drummer Simon Allen, the label has since expanded to include side-projects - guitarist Eddie Roberts' Roughneck band, and percussionist Sam Bell's Orgatronics have both released albums through ONR, and have been joined recently by Papadub, the reggae spin-off created by Bob Birch and Pete Shand. At last in 2006, a band featuring NO members of the New Mastersounds has joined the team: Fast3, a British ex-pat trio living in Barcelona, Spain, whose debut studio album 'The Grifter' (quirky funk-soul-boogaloo) is now out on CD in Japan and available everywhere else on itunes. There's a partner label - 3 on the B Records - which selflessly handles many ONR releases in the USA. And we're closely affiliated to Hammondbeat.com.
Just dropping by to say Hi and see what you’re up to and how you are doing.
As always, wishing you well. Stay positive, productive & purpose driven.
Peace
Michael
