About ONE ODD

Hushed like a hurricane, calm like a bomb- the One Odd story is a horribly disfigured fairytale of fear and loathing of biblical proportions. Since bursting onto the scene as ONE ODD REASON some four years ago, the newly relaunched ONE ODD have forged for themselves a fearsome reputation as one of the most uncompromising and exciting new bands in the country.

The ONE ODD sound is as fluid as it is cutting edge; an assault driven fusion of heavy rock, punk and hardcore that flirts effortlessly with an all pervading pop sensibility. The band marries a wide range of influences from Australias own Karnivool through to the likes of As I Lay Dying, Bleeding Through, Iron Maiden and Blink182.

One Odd have enjoyed considerable success of recent years with over 200 shows in and around Melbourne, a radio single Dusk Till Dawn which enjoyed high rotation on TripleJ, Nova and MMM and a recent national tour supporting the infamous CKY! Such is ONE ODDs endless popularity with the skate fraternity that the band has had their music featured on numerous Globe World Cup DVDs as well as the Method Clothings Scavenger Hunt series.
