A Herod in me.

Into my dark consciousness I peeped.

to my horror, I found a Herod in me

With vileness laugh and rolling sarcastic eyes, mocking at my pathetic self.


“Stop laughing” I rumbled, and I mumbled,
I was helpless but to choke and kill the untimely undesired baby in her womb, she was but an unwanted burden that I long not to carry.


“Ho, stop rolling your eyes” I growled; she was a baby, though I abandoned her in the darkness, into certain death, I hard-pressed and banished my own very flesh and blood, for I placed me above all.


Yes, in you and me dwells a Herod, slayer of infants in million and billions, hidden beneath to this day, slaying to his heart content, through abortion and rejection, eliminating born and the unborn.


His vileness laughing hoot echo from within, heinous Herod shall perish when my hands fondly fold to hold an unborn infant soul.

Subject: Prayer for the deprived Christian


My dear friends and my fellow prayer warriors in Christ;
It’s
been a long fight for all the poor Christians in India against
religious hate and abhorrence; the recent Christian converts from the
backward communities are striped of from their rightful benefits and
legal remunerations just because they (we) bear our Lord’s cross on
their necks as the sign of faith and carry the holy bible in their
hands to proclaim the good news. Our Churches were burnt, children and
woman were raped and killed that is an old news that never stopped to
this day; the sad and agonizing new today is newly converted Christians
irrespective of their order or congregations they are been deprived of
their rightful benefits as a citizen of (Ironically) the biggest
democratic country in the world.

My friends, I am not asking
you for charity or any monitory assistance for this people - but
sincere prayer said with faith and honesty true to our own cognizant;
and also pray for me and my Christian friends who are involved in this
mission of Christ; so that we may be able to fulfill our mission to
uplift the affected village and families to regain their pride and
honor as true children of our God and also their livelihood with
dignity.

Let us pray;
Dear Lord my merciful God, here we
stand before you true to ourselves fragile and frighten; striped off
naked from our rights, persecuted and hunted as criminals for bearing
your cross and for pronouncing your Good news to the people of the dark
and ignorant world where we dwell. O my God of courage march before us
SEND IN your brigade of angels to protect your born-again children
through Christ your beloved son.

Give us the strength to all
those who dare to carry your cross and pronounce your Good news to the
people of the precarious world.Give us t

The landlord will answer the door to the basement or the door to the store front church and ask, "You seek Ms so and so of place no name?"  "You seek, sis no name of nobody's land? He is not here.  He is risen!"   The sepulchre of a situation, the sepulchre of a basement, the sepulchre of a store front church, the sepulchre of a low paid job, the sepulchre of a drug addict needles and drugs, the sepulchre of taxis and buses, the sepulchre is still there but he is not there!  Before chapter 16 ends, your life must completely change because chapter 17 is next!  Joy shall comes in the morning!  By sunrise, you will no longer be living in your sepulchre! God is going to raise you up out of the basement!  He is going to raise you up out of the storefront church!  He is going to move you out of that low paid.  He is going to give a husband/wife that will love you to bits! You will no longer seek destructive drugs to get a high.  Instead you will be drinking from the Living Fountain.  You will be attached to Him via a spiritual imbilical cord!  He put you on "Display" after a "One night stand" for victory!  Let me sing, "Victory in Jesus, my Saviour forever, He sought me and He bought me, with His redeeming blood.
