關於我: Stapleton, former site of Denver's original airport, will once again become a flight zone during One Sky One World's annual kite festival on Oct. 12, 2008 in Stapleton's Central Park. Now in its 23rd year, the Denver-based "World Kite Day" will unite more than 5,000 participants with people in over 35 countries, demonstrating the relationship between man and nature through the art of kite flying.
This year's festival will feature celebrities from the kite flying community, many local kite artists and numerous international musical acts performing on a 100 percent solar powered stage, donated by Bella Energy.
Participants of all ages will also have the opportunity to visit three villages at the festival including the Kite Village where visitors can learn about the history and art of kite flying, the Pet Village involving a pet parade and the Sustainability Village, which focuses on the benefits of an environmentally friendly lifestyle.
