| General | podcasting, photography, performance art, galleries, theatre, writing, meeting new people and asking them all about their stories, who they are, and what they care about, traveling, hanging out in in the park..or a porch in New Orleans eating fried chicken during a thunderstorm, drinking scotch, sitting outside on a summer night, eating burritos and drinking margaritas, rainy days in a coffee shop talking to a good friend, sitting around in my living room.. i can busy myself for days on end tooling around doing who knows what | | Music | the pixies are like a brother who always has been and always will be there for me; arcade fire, dinah, ella, nina.. the greats, yo la tengo, sigur ros, bjork, um, pearl jam's latest, neil young, fiona's latest, loretta lynn, calexico, black keys, andrew bird, stereolab, flaming lips, john lee hooker, charlie parker, bill evans, ella & louis | | Movies | big lebowski, happy together, front page, the jerk, groundhog day, shortcuts, heaven, oscar and lucinda, the killers, elf, touch of evil, night of the iguana, matador, croupier, alice doesn't live here anymore, the reluctant debutante | | Television | not so much; but i do love my Futurama and Greg the bunny.. genius! and Miami Vice original episodes, which i'm watching right now | | Books | my friends and i have a book club-we yap about books and boys; i read stuff my friends write, like 'a really nice prom mess' by brian sloan and julian fleishers' drag queens of ny | | Heroes | hmm.. moongirl of the invincibles!! she totally rocks, as does James Invincible, aka the Professor. people like them come around less frequently than comets..so.. um, like every million years. |

About me:
I'm a burlesque dancer, and I have my own podcast and I am in search of life, adventure and laughs...I guess like most of us.
I go one on one with all kinds of peeps, from strippers, to novelists, filmmakers, other burlesque divas, trapeze artists, musicians... they are my friends and now we get to talk together and people listen. - check it out at www.onetryckpony.com or subscribe on itunes , search for one tryck pony.
I really like people and rainy days and sitting around and talking all night. I like to walk in the park when it's freezing cold so i can get back inside and have treats! like hot chocolate. And old stuff, like coney island, miami vice-the original episodes, bill murray playing hunter s. thompson, and traveling - I travel every chance I get.
