Sounds Like
Ummm...considering I just write whatever comes to mind without thinking of what genre it fits into, I’m not sure I sound like anyone, though I did pattern the guitar solo in "Scene Stealer" after Pat Benatar.
Who am I? Why is this site here? My name, as you might have gathered, is Christy and I'm a writer/webmaster/drummer/e-commerce type chick with a slightly wacky sense of humor and a bit of an attitude. I'm a butterfly-chasing Gemini that tends to obsess on things and then jump into looking at the pretty pictures on the wall instead.
I'm currently nearing 30 and have a handful of focuses:
I am my mother's primary caregiver as she battles ALS (Lou Gehrig's Disease)
I proudly hold the title of "World's Greatest Aunt." Try and prove me wrong, my niece will never believe you.
I write songs I really wish someone else would sing.
I am Mom to two big mutts and three wildly different cats.
And if you know me from the internet at all it's probably as webmaster of TheRunaways.com, which I co-ran until August 2008.
Most of my life right now revolves around my mom and trying to destroy, eradicate, DISMEMBER the disease she's fighting. I'm recording some of my experiences at ALSCaregiver.com in the hopes that they can be of assistance to someone else.
Hey, I just tagged you in a picture, not because I actually think it's you, but I just wanted you to see it. LOL It reminds me of that web site where the cat is saying things.. you showed it to me one day but now I can't remember the address.
Your thoughtfulness breathes new hope into my shaky faith in humanity. Thank you so much. I caught Chuck crying over it--we have been together more than four years and I have never seen him shed one single tear.
That was the single nicest thing anyone has ever done for me! I couldn't believe you did that--thank you so so much. My mom said I could plant them in the yard and next year they would come back and always remind me of how much I loved him. Thank you a million times over.
No you aren't white trash at all. White trash is a frame of mind as far as I am concerned. I was just adding the stained sweat pants for visual effect. Have you heard from Terra? I bragged on you hard core.
