"These days the term "pop" usually hold a negative connotation but think of One Wolf as the pop sound of the Indie culture. Daniel Markham possesses songwriting skills and vocals that could appeal to both the mainstream market and the Indie underground music culture which is why there lays no negativity behind it here. The guy's creative and he's got mass appeal.-"Daily Toreador

(john gjaltema...altcountry.nl)

One Wolf killed it as always, though Daniel Markham probably didn’t think so. Being in I Are Transformer will rape one’s voice, but Markham stuck it out and rocked the faces off of all in the crowd. Endng with an epic rendition of R.E.M.’s “Country Feedback,” One Wolf poured yet another layer of cement on their monument as one of the best bands in Lubbock.-The Llano Idea

"By the time One Wolf took the stage, the magic of the evening was really setting in, and people were starting to gather heavily at the stagefront. I found their performance to be tighter and more muscular than anything they’d ever done– Daniel Markham was a spirited front man, wielding his electric guitar like a weapon, inserting new solos and and new songs into the mix. A cover of R.E.M.’s “Country Feedback” was an angst-filled sing-a-long, with backing vocals by TDC’s Kyle Harris and One Wolf keys man (and Numerators scream-leader) Sammi Rana, and brand new song “Backyard” was the type of stoned power-rock anthem that One Wolf trades in so beautifully, a la Lloyd Cole or, yeah, R.E.M."-The Llano Idea
After leaving the legendary Lubbock, Texas Alt. Country group Waiting to Derail, singer/songwritter Daniel Markham is heading up his own one man project One Wolf. Influenced by bands like Tears For Fears and New Order to Hank Williams and Whiskeytown, One Wolf's solo songs range from spaghetti western to sci-fi explosion. Producer Jason Martin of Starflyer 59 helps to bring One Wolf's original sound full circle making this an album that fans of Sergio Leone and Battlestar Galactica can agree on.

I've heard it. The sentiment is good, but the execution-very bad. Besides, hearing 'Chisled in Stone' once will bring a tear to the eye of the frigid heart.
Heard when you were in Athens you tried to locate Stipe's house.....I actually used to leave a few doors down from him.....the community pool at my old place is supposed to be the subject of "Nightswimming"....I wish I was in town when you came thru. I woulda gave you the tour.
