In shinto they are spirits.

I did a couple of shows at the end of Spring. First was Livingston's Spring Fest 06. It got rained out and cramed into the Rec Center. Bad Sound, moderately OK show, but i have to say Big City Rock was awesome, so was Phantom Planet.
Then the show at The Abdab. Amazing is all I have to say. I got some awesome shots of Screem hello (the headliner) and Chris Batten and the Woods (insanely amazing).
I shot Taste of Chaos a few months back. Unfortunately they are on hold. This is one of my favorites. Its Dan Marsala Lead Vocalist for Story of the Year.
This is older than Taste of Chaos, its Anders Fridén of In Flames shot at Webster Hall. Fun fact about webster hall it used to be The Ritz New York, like that Irving Berlin song.

the Monkey's fine :) but we are on the road to Tennesse. I took second place in my last ESPN Women's Bassmaster tournament in Alabama. I missed winning a $25,000 boat by 7oz..lol.
