About me:
My Background.
I was born in Edinburgh but my parents moved to South London shortly after I was born and it's where I grew up. I moved to my present address just outside Reading in 1986 just after the death of my father to look after my mother. But I still go to London every so often with Christine just to enjoy the buzz of the big city and the people.
Christine is an amazing lady with whom I now share my life. We've been together since 1999 and they've been very happy and fulfilling years. We were married in November of 2007. I have four lovely children from my previous marriage and Christine also has four. So with eight children and six grandchildren (the latest on 16th February 2007) Christmases are very busy and happy.
We have two cats, Chandler and Buzby. Chandler is a Bengal and a great character and Buzby is a Persian and is just plain lazy.
In the early 80's I coached the University of London Womens' Rowing Club to win medals at the UK National Rowing Championships - for two consecutive years! I got a real kick out of helping those friend reach their dreams.
And I continue to coach and mentor people today who are looking for help to create wealth in Network Marketing - for FREE.
My Road To Success.
In October 2001, after a few job changes and eventually having to take on delivery driving for nearly two months, I decided that I had to take control of my own life. I'd had enough. I hadn't enjoyed what I was doing for some time. So I came to the conclusion that it was time to turn the dream that I had for about 35 years into reality. I was time to start my own business.
But I hadn't a clue as to what to do. A conventional bricks and mortar business was out of the question. It was just too expensive. I bumbled around the internet trying this, having a stab at that. I knew that the internet was a big marketplace and if I was going to have success anywhere then this was the place. I just had to find the right company with the right product.
I did a lot of research and read many books. I'd come to the conclusion that MLM was a good business model. However, I'd also seen lots of bad press about it.
Then at the end of 2004 I came across a web site that offered free mentoring. It was called Mentoring For Free. Yes, FREE mentoring! All I'd seen so far was expensive programs. And I wasn't about to spend a fortune on an education. So I downloaded the free e-book,
Success in 10 Steps,
that was being offered on their web site.
WHAT A REVELATION! Here, in this e-book, I was handed a blueprint for success in MLM. It was so different from what I had heard before. No selling and no 'recruiting'. Just building relationships. Building mutual respect and trust. That was more in line with what I saw as building a business. And this e-book was FREE! If it would have been priced at $295 it would still have been a bargain.
And what's more, there were coaching calls nearly every day of the week. And these were free too. I'd found a gold mine.
Success in 10 Steps changed my business life. That and the coaching and mentoring that I get from the Mentoring For Free team have been instumental in my being able to build a rock solid and successful business today.
Since the beginning of 2005, I've been coaching and mentoring people from any company to help them achieve their goals - for FREE.
I'm glad you found my page. Have you added me to your Friends list yet? Who knows, maybe I'll wind up helping you to your own success ...
Thanks for dropping by,
Jan
