BIO – ENGLISH
Roberto Affuso aka Dj ONLY, since he was a child his friends nicknamed him "Only Night", for his eternal passion for music, especially the "dance". Indeed he spends his childhood between keyboard lessons. At the age of 14, at a birthday party for a friend of his, he plays a small hi-fi system of Techno of that period (Tony H, Mauro Picotto, Aphex Twin !!!), trying to pass, without succeeding, from cd to tape. Then an increasing passion for the Dj job makes him force his father to buy his first LP's and his first CD's. Only is distinguished by his dragging energetic sound, which reflects his attention towards new technologies. His musical sounds range between minimal, ipnotic, electro, funk, ambient, techno and house music, never leaving a line pulled low... The features of his productions are extraordinarily special and unique. His music is full of harmony and originality, contaminated by the psychedelic rythms of '70s, combined with the most modern electronic melodies. An experimental flow well worth to be danced in the dazzling lights of a disco of this Era!

Roberto Affuso aka Dj ONLY, soprannominato fin da piccolo dai suoi amici Only Night, proprio per la sua passione sin da bambino per la musica, specie quella “da ballo”. Trascorre infatti la sua infanzia tra lezioni di pianoforte e tastiera. All’età di 14 anni, in una festa di compleanno di un suo amico, suona con un piccolo impianto hi-fi della Techno di quel periodo (Tony H, Mauro Picotto, Aphex Twin!!!), cercando, senza riuscirci, di passare dal cd alla cassetta e viceversa. Comincia allora ad appassionarsi sempre di più alla figura del Dj fino a costringere suo papà ad acquistare i primi cd e i primi dischi (Undergroun Resistance del mitico Jeff Mills) che suonava con un giradischi che gli era stato regalato. Only si distingue per il suo sound energico, trascinante e avanguardistico, che rispecchia la sua attenzione verso le nuove tecnologie musicali, spaziando tra sonorità minimali ipnotiche, electro, funk, ambient, techno, house e deep, senza mai allontanarsi da una tirata linea di basso… Le sue produzioni hanno caratteristiche molto particolari, uniche, lavorate con originalità e armonia, contaminate da ritmi psichedelici degli anni '70, combinate con le più moderne melodie elettroniche, un flusso sperimentale decisivo degno di essere ballato tra le luci abbaglianti di una discoteca di questa era!
