"....These jagged little bombs have a metallic twang about them and an overdriving sense of melody but do so in a way that recalls the likes of Minor Threat in a pitched brawl with Sick Of It All. There's a rapid fire emergency behind numbers like 'Spineless' which are shot out with a yob laden backbone of gang shouts and agit-prop immediacy.
This sounds as though it has crawled out of the early 90s' and this lot would have caused a stage diving frenzy if they had been around to share the stage with the likes of Snuff, Leatherface and Les Thugs. 'Drawing Lines' is the best here with a memorable chorus hollered through its more doom-laden melody....

High point of the whole frantic thing is "Drawing Lines" for its tempo change and its effect on a live audience, think demented and joyous survivors of a noise bomb. These guys are a force to be reckoned with and unlike a great many hardcore outfits there is more to OFAC than mindless noise, they can lay claim to musical talent. There is no weak link in the band, they can all play. The sound is hard driven but they never resort to killing their instruments to achieve it and singer Momme has a voice that was forged in an industrial vat somewhere designed to pump bile and raw emotion in equal measure... Only Fumes & Corpses are a DIY hardcore
punk band from Galway, Ireland. We play fast chunky riffs
with big drums and screaming vocals. We have been together
since early 2005 and have played many gigs around Ireland with
some great bands and lovely people. We released our debut
self titled 4 track EP in September 2006. Dedicaton Records
(Canada) released one of the songs of it on a 4 way split 7"
in Sep. 2007. We released our new 8 track CD " Read
what's in beteen" in July 2007. We spent most of
July and early August touring around Europe. The band
returned to England for a short tour at the beginning of
February. Only Fumes & Corpses joined forces with
The Mingers and Los Mendozas for an Irish tour at the
end of February. We are now working on new songs for
out next release but will be playing some shows festivals
in Ireland, the UK and Finland over the summer

yeah, i guess it was just cos i was lookin it up too, didn't see it on metal ireland though, there was one on adverts. ie too, went to see it last night, sounded nice, so i bought it! i too cant afford it either, but fuck it , got it for 500, with a 4*12 cab too, so i figure its worth it. lemmy uses one an all,
CON: "Hi, I'm looking for info on the JCM 800 100w bass series head, model no. 1992. I looking at buying one but i can't find any information about the head anywhere and I thought this forum looked like the best place to try and find some. Does anyone here have any experience with this head or able to point me in the right direction. I play bass in a hardcore punk band and I have no idea if this head would be suitable for my needs. I've got a solid state peavey bass head at the moment but would love to get an all tube head, I've heard this jcm bass head might be good for guitar aswell which would be a bonus. Anyone got any advice? Cheers."
