Hi there - sorry to clutter up your lovely page with my deposits...

DSL18 Dead Wood - Harmonic Sector 1-10 - £3.
00

As Dead Wood, Dirtydemos boss Adam Baker sculpts beautiful laptop drones from the simplest of source material. Sine waves are carefully layered and manipulated, and from this simple source material complex sounds and etherial shimmering voices are summoned. Minimal and decorated with glitchy pointillist gestures. This is a warm, visceral and narcotic listen, far removed from the usual releases in this genre.

DSL17 El Heath - A (rather) Dead Sea Liner EP - £3.
00 (Limited Edition of 70)

Ambient Sea shanties and beautiful abyssal drones

Hey Gish, good to meet you too! Sorry for the very late reply. I've overlooked this myspace page for a while. Serves me right for having too many of them.
Thanks for the comments and glad you liked my stuff.
At work right now - joy - but look forward to taking a good listen to your stuff here after shamefully missing your set at Scaledown.

Take it easy!
Tim.

He is deadly on the drums, so he is. :-)

Good to see you at - oh yes - GAFFTONBURY.

No worries, it was a bloody good one. Wycombe needs a dose of something a bit more abstract every now and then. Even if people don't understand what's going on. This Jack Nicholson CD is brilliant by the way...

..

Alessandro Bosetti will report in from his travels through the southern states of the USA and will perform translations from gullah/pennsylvania dutch/creole/cajun french/tewa and navajo languages.

Soichiro Mitsuya will translate his amazement and wonderment about the ongoing noise constructions on Alexanderplatz in Berlin, and will use a special setting to amplify his recordings.

Michael Northam has freshly arrived in Berlin after a six months stay in India. His soundworks will be based on recordings made in that period.

Ben Owen from freepoint radio in New York will be the DJ.

Hey thanks for the add... I'm just listening now and am really enjoying it. The first track on the player is so hypnotic, I didn't realise how much it was lulling me. If you want to play in Bucks, please let me know as I put on shows here.
