I absolutely Love anything outdoors- as I am an avid cyclist. I enjoy learning, exploring and trying new things, anything that entails some kind of adventure, burying my nose in a good book (usually my sketchbook,) getting messy with my paints, hanging out with friends, and spending lots of time with family.
All in all, I guess I am not your typical pastey, waify, pretentious art kid- so gimme' a chance.
I feel like I am rambling on, and I hate talking about myself...but what else am I gonna' use this for besides a little self-immersed grandstanding eh?!
I don't watch much television. I actually use my television as a prop to fool people into thinking that I am one of them.
Actually, at the risk of sounding like a complete dork...I really enjoy sitting down with a few friends and watching the Discovery Channel, TLC, The Science Channel and the like.
And...I would be remiss if I didn't mention that I am a devout and sanctimonious worshiper of The Church of Adult Swim. Viva' La' Right-Brainers!
About me: I am an optimistic, fiercely loyal, passionate, esoteric and outgoing almost thirtysomething that is currently busy doing this thing called a career- working my way up through the ranks within the design/ advertising industry while running my own creative services firm Seed Creative.
So, basically I draw pretty pictures for a living...pretty cool, huh?!
I just moved out to Marietta from Woodstock recently to live with my girlfriend Sabrina. It's a long story...but, I've never been happier. It feels good just to follow your heart...and actually be right.
I tend to travel quite a bit domestically for my profession so, whether it takes a pair of shoes or my passport to get there...I am down to go anywhere and do mostly anything...just let me know when and where. I really want to go to Reykjavik, Iceland some time this summer before possibly heading off to Europe.
I like to talk to strangers, laugh with life rather than at it, explore the great unknown without ever forgetting where home is, immersing myself in other cultures, make my family dinner, people watch, do things just for the art of it, over use the ellipsis...
I *heart* Guiness, being lost, the corners of a perfect smile, learning the lingo, bare feet on the dashboard, not wearing underwear, lonely roads, the sunday morning paper and coffee in bed, ponytails pulled through the back of baseball-caps, the smell of a new place, the warmth of Lover's secret in my ear...the list goes on and on.
Who I'd like to meet: I would like to simply meet someone who is virtuous, genuine and selfless...three of the characteristics I hold in the highest regard...and also the most rare this day in age. I would Love to say that it takes one to know one...but, let's just say that I'm doin' the best I can to be that person everyday.
On a not-so-serious note...I'd like to meet George Bush's PR guy...just to shake his hand. Also, Chris Cunningham...just to bow before him as my creative deity.
