real name: Slobodan Ljubinac (Garo) a.k.a. BodyGuarDMX (BGX) is an young artist who
had his first touch with electronic dance music in 2006th
when he made his first song called "Baby I love you".
Altough he made his first song in 2006, his very first mix
was released in May 2008th! It was called unofficial essential mix,
based on his favorite essential show by Pete Tong
(maybe he would have a chance to be a guest @ that show
sometime in the future :)). Few months later under the pseudonim Garo Shakur, his second mix called Progressive drug was released. Although mix vas good he decided not to release the new material in the next few months untill he gained more mixing skills! With his 'Heavy Mix' that he made in October 2008 he made a HUGE, HUGE step on his mixing skills & techniques(using fabolous transitions, effects, harmony mixing, massive tracks..,)! With the Heavy Mix he destroyed his previous mixes with meaning! This was just a step up & a promise that the next mixes would sound even better!
He likes to mix Progressive house,
Electro, Techno but do not be supprised if you hear some Breaks,
minimal or other genre in his mix's. Same like his friend
Paolo Mojo said, I never knew the difference between these genres,
for me the best DJ's always choose the best beats from
worldwide genre of sounds & they join them in that way it
have sense for listeners! He is mixing using his Laptop,
running TRAKTOR from native instruments.
After all the parties he has been to, in the nearby countries
(EXIT festival, refresh festival, restartparty etc.)
in the name of love for the music he decided to start DJing
& to become if not one of the best, then one of the hottest :D
