Ono Grindz has entertained the Phoenix valley with its folk/fusion sounds since 2003, with a blend of folk, rock, blues, and even a little country.
Starting a 3-piece group called the Juniors (Ron Bowen, Shawn Royer, and Jeannie Chang), it eventually expanded to a 5 and 6 piece lineup, but has recaptured more of the folk acoustic sounds from its genesis. Continuing the legacy are White Buffalo, Jaw, Kreme, and our newest addition, Tulpy. King James is back with his grownup version of pots n pans for added wham-bam on the bigger stages. Ron Bowen, the White Buffalo, continues with solo performances as well, and an Ono Grindz duo or trio emerges for more intimate venues.
Jimmy Lee Boggs plays regulary on weekends at Pizza Heaven with Eric Hasbun, and Karla joins them from time to time too. James also plays with "Instant Hobo".
Ono Grindz brings to you unforgettable original music as well as memorable cover songs, to play up to 4 hours of music for venues and events!
