Onorata nace en 2007 luego de la iniciativa de Jesús (Bajo) y Daniel (Guitarra) de hacer una banda por el simple hecho de hacer música basada en sus influencias (aunque tocaron cosas que salían de sus gustos).
En aquellos días el objetivo era construir los cimientos de lo que puede ser la banda más prometedora de nuestros tiempos, en esos momentos nace la que puede ser la canción más representativa de la banda, Días Negros
En esos mismos días salen a la luz Juez de Dios y 02 10. Aunque la banda sonaba bien, se manejó bajo una etiqueta de grupo Neopunk (concepto que le adjudicarón los entonces escuchas de la banda).
Luego de ensayar algunos meses con un baterista de soporte, Criss (Batería) se integra a la banda dando un matíz diferente al que se venía manejando, más aterrizado a un Rock Clásico.
Con esta última alineación (actual) nacen canciones como Amanecer, Ecos y Chica Dulce. Si pretendes conceptuelizar a Onorata en un género musical específico, te será difícil ya que suenan como un híbrido del que no se tienen antecedentes "Solo tocamos Rock".
Al día de hoy y con más canciones bajo el brazo, se vienen tejiendo una serie de presentaciones tendientes a consolidar a Onorata como una de las bandas más representativas de la escena musical actual.
