About onsa

’02年結成。下北沢を中心に活動。USインディー・ロックの精神にインスパイアされたバンド達で構成される独自のシーンに息づき活動をしてきた。

’03年に自主制作のデモ音源がコアなインディー・ロック・ファンに絶大な支持を受ける。

’04年12月、1st AL《mizuiro sorairo》をリリース。好セールスを記録。レコ発ライヴを含む、全国8ヶ所にてツアーを行う。

’05年7月、USインディーの名門レーベルTOOTH & NAILよりリリースしたばかりのWaking Ashlandの来日公演のサポートを務める。その年9月にはシングル《8月9日》を限定にてリリース。

’06年3月、4年来の盟友『the chef cooks me』との協同企画イベントを開催。 9月には『LAST ALLIANCE』の企画による上野公園での野外イベント『UP FIELD』に参加するなど、ライヴ活動の幅も広がっていく。

’07年2月、2nd AL《アルバム》をリリース。リリースツアーファイナルをワンマンで行い大盛況を収めた。7月にRX－RECORDSのオムニバスに参加。

その事をきっかけに2008年RX-RECORDSに移籍。そして移籍第1弾となる待望のニューアルバム《音旅行》を’08年10月8日にリリースする。
