Heres a little about LOWA. We are Steve Tucker (x-Morbid Angel frontman for countless world tours and three albums), Steve Jacobs (x-Forbidden, Billboard top 40 charting ManMade God and former touring drummer for Testament), Jason VieBrooks (x-Heathen/Grip Inc.).
We've all been friends for years and always wanted to play together, but never lived in the same town or we were always out on tour. Finally we're all here in Cincinnati at the same time and we all wanted to get together and just write what we wanted to hear and not worry about what everybody else wanted. We feel we've begun to capture what we've set out to do.
You might hear us play something with a death metal feel and then play a song with a more "radio friendly" sound. We don't want to be confined by a genre.
Currently we are in the process of booking as many live dates as we can and bring this stuff to the masses. Hard work is something we're not afraid of, being from the bullshit midwest, its part of us and the vibe we have musically shows that. That being said, take note of us and if you like what were doing, hell yeah and thanks and come see us at a town near you, Steve will buy the first round. Trick is in figuring out which Steve.
