a message from sarah:
thanks for all the support and love. i finished the detroit marathon on october 21st. it was quite an adventure. i was followed by flashing cop car lights for the last 5 miles!! i've either got a severe strain or a stress fracture in my foot. happend about mile 9, but because i am hard-headed i was determined to finish. the cop was following me because i was the LAST person before the course cut off! but i finished 26.2 and almost had to crawl across the finish. so thanks again for helping me through. special thanks to me mum and mel b for being there in the D.
Lyrics of the Month Life Unscripted
i just got caught up
amazed by you and your fanciful parade
you're one up
on me tonight cause i'm tangled up in what you say
you say
a little more every day
i want you
and every little part that drives me so crazy
i won't give up
on you tonight, when things don't go our way
our way
i'll give it all to you someday
i love waking up to see your dashing smile
i've been waiting for someone like you for a while
in this life unscripted
i know that
this isn't our time to call this you and me
so we'll split up and go our ways
taking different company
we'll see
this has got to be
so i'll kiss you and say goodbye
and tell you that i'll miss your laugh
but still steal glances when you least expect
to capture you one last time
one last time
baby just give this time

Welcome to tYpsi. This is a side project of singer/songwriter Sarah Leicher. Over the past 6 years, Sarah has primarily been performing solo, but with the creation of tYpsi, many of her once solo career songs have become complete with the addition of her band.
Sarah relocated to Chicago in early 2007 and has been busy working on new material. Forming a new collaboration of local musicans, expect to see Sarah supported by a full band in the coming months
The Early Years
Bored out of her mind in rural Michigan, Sarah started a band with fellow classmate Darcy. Together they performed as On the Go playing gigs in and around the Michigan area. When Sarah finished school in 2002, she broke free and started a small solo project. Out of this came two LPs and two EPs, Insanity (released 2002), When the World Meant Everything (released 2003), As Lovers Go: An Acoustic Heartbreak (released 2005), and Follow Me (released 2005).
Most of the tracks featured on Insanity were composed in a journal while Sarah rode the rails in Scotland and England. The lyrics reflect the thoughts and feelings of being away from home and the rich culture of the scottish countryside.
The subsequent albums carried the theme of deep and poetic emotion accompanied by simple and sweet chords.
During the time of the Follow Me production, Sarah was introduced to Jeff Yoder. The two immediately cliqued and the seeds of tYpsi were planted.
What's Going On Now
We just finished mixing/mastering a demo live album, A Sense of Self: Live from Magdelena's which is currently in print for a very limited time!
To make it short, tYpsi is working hard and is a band for hire!
F.Y.I: the official website for on the go music is currently getting a new facelift. we'll hopefully have a fresh and clean one up shortly! for now, find us exclusively on myspace
relying on others blow man! are you still coming to NYC in January? Something about a friend, work, and you coming. . . .I vaguely remember ;) Hope to see you!
Can't wait to see you on Sunday! I'm thinking of writing something other than my name on my shirt. So instead of "go Beth" or "doing great number 6033," people will shout "looking good great legs" or "you're almost there, nice ass."
okay so this is really late and everything, but how was the little run? i guess it was hot and, um, problematic, but you darling, did you run well? was it good? terrible? will you make me some food now?
