  • Bio

Playing their own songs, which draw on influences from such bands as Biffy Clyro, One Republic, Pendulum and Porcupine Tree, "On The Spot" produce an energetic mix of Pop/Post punk. Using strong anthem like hooks allowing the songs to work on many different levels. From the quiet ballad of ‘Dreams’ to the rousing festival ‘Unfound’. The band continues to build its fan base, built on regular gigging over the last 3 years and the delivery of fresh material, recorded and produced by the band. Songs are primarily written by Chris with the band adding arrangement as required. Over the last few years the band has performed at many different festivals, clubs, pubs and bars. This has included: The Hastings Beer and Music festival 08, Rock2Raize08, Breaking Sweat 08, Lovewood 09, Festival of Friends 09, Freedom Fun 09, Vibes from the Vine 09, Pev Fest 09, Charlie’s Challenge 09 and Vibes from the Vine 10, to name but a few. The band has recently released an EP of 3 songs called ‘On my mind’. Songs included are Encore, Breathe and Lost and Found.
The bands first album is expected out later this year and will consist a mix of new material and songs currently played during their gigs. GET IN TOUCH! email on_the_spot@hotmail.co.uk or, message us on myspace
