On the Verge of Ruin: the name says it all. Driven by life struggles and the demons within, this quartet based out of Lebanon, PA is beyond your typical metal band. Influenced by everything from hardcore to classic rock, On the Verge of Ruin is described as a mixture of everything that is right in rock.
After parting ways with the vocalist from their old band, Dead Helix, vocal duties were split, old songs were evolved, and new lyrics were written. Jacob Labe, lyricist, guitarist and vocalist, explains: "I've just been able to dive into my emotions, and bleed them out onto paper. Now I can actually apply them to songs, sing about them, and hope that I can reach out to someone who has been in those shoes. Its a way to let them know they are not alone and that they can survive it just as I did."
Taking on a new form entirely, On the Verge of Ruin is aiming to take things to the next level.
