Sun Ra;
"I couldn't approach black people with the truth because they like lies. They live lies … At one time I felt that white people were to blame for everything, but then I found out that they were just puppets and pawns of some greater force, which has been using them … Some force is having a good time [manipulating black and white people] and looking, enjoying itself up in a reserved seat, wondering, "I wonder when they're going to wake up."

BeatJazz
is a style of improvisation born of beat/dance/hip hop culture, where the beat always takes precedence over the jazz.
It isn’t a genre but rather a way to approach playing with electronic music;
improvisation that is meant to enhance the beats ability to make people dance.
Although I came up with the term about 4 years ago, examples of this style of club performance have always been around. What makes this term relevant now is the prevalance of DJ/dance music culture, and electronic music production. With present technology, it is possible for me to bring a laptop loaded with EVERY great synth ever created, mangled with any effect imaginable and play it WIRELESSLY from the wind synth controller.
Who I've worked with
I've had th opportunity to hone my craft in studios and nightclubs around the world, for that last decade or so. as BEATJAZZ is a performance style created for nightclubs and meant as a means to create sonic narrative in DJ based environments, i have had the great blessing of playing with some of the biggest DJs in the world on stage and in the studio. this list is not complete but gives a cross section of styles and visions.
