In the year 1997, Yes Ma´aM, Finlands only and best
Happy Rock band was born. The singer Lotta and song writer Lind..n; who have
long musical careers behind them, gathered some young and talented musicians
around them and their own style was created; Happy Rock.
The many line up changes in the band hasnt affected Yes Ma´aM´s
fresh sound. A mix of bright and beautiful vocals, heavy, powerful guitars and
groovy rhythms. This is Yes Ma´aM´s strength; it sounds like nothing
you have heard before but its still honestly a joy in itself.
Yes Ma´aM´s style has been noticed in both local
and national papers, as well as in gig towns. One of the leading Finnish music
magazines, Soundi, chose Yes Ma´aM as the Best Demo Band, and sang their
praises in a review. The atmosphere in the gigs is sweaty and hectic, as the
guitars and streaming bass lines make people move.
Yes Ma´aM´s new sound has found its place in many
music lovers hearts in Finland as well as abroad. Yes Maams music is a universal
joy, and thats why new people join Happy Rockers every day.
