Opal Sky was an Edinburgh based, rock band from 2003-2007.
"There's nothing like a band with a mixture of images. Opal Sky is one such band. Skinny ties, kipper ties, overflowing hair and leather skirts; - this band'll kick you in the stomach to make you pay attention." Is This Music
"Sometimes it's best to let the songs do the talking, because in this case they had a tugging urgency that demands all our attention." The List
"From the opening bars of 'St German' to the closing notes of (new song) 'The Blue Of You' the Nice'n'Sleazy crowd were treated to an amazingly powerfull and bluesy set."

Hello Opal Sky!!! Thanks a lot for your friendship,I love your songs,"St Germain"& "glue" are really incredible!!! All my best wishes from France,bye...
Love you guys. Last night was amazing and very moving. So glad I know you all. you are all such talented, lovely people and thanks to you I have met some really cool people and made some really good friends. Thanks so much. xxxx
Thanks for putting the tickets to one side for us Tony! We had a great night and I hope you all left the stage last night feeling very very proud of yourselves. What a stunning performance! One of my fondest memories comes from the PsychEssential days of Jewel & Esk and the Meadows Festival where you won the hearts of the Edinburgh Metal Scene. Opal Sky are/were one of the hardest working bands I ever had the pleasure to know. The fact that you are all lovely people is an added bonus to the exceptional capabilities you each have. Last night was poignant for me and seemed to capture time, change, much love and the bitter sweet of watching you leave the stage one hell of a band which deserved more. Good luck with whatever you do and thank you for the music. Karen x x x x
Have fun tonight! I'm really gutted I can't come through as I'm sure it will be a great show. I'll be shedding a wee tear myself @ midnight! (Well - that's a bit over dramatic. I won't really, but you know what I mean!)I wish you all every success in what follows.
Well, here I am listening through Tiny Tales before I send it to the pressing plant tomorrow morning. I should be done by 5am. I'm getting a little sentimental, and really enjoying it, even after having tinkered with it for what must be hundreds of hours. There's some awesome stuff on here. Thanks for the memories. I love y'all.

P.P.S. Oh, we should be CD text-tastic, by the way. Check it out!
good luck guys! it's always been a pleasure playing with you and watching you and getting intoxicated with you and just staying up all night talking and not talking to you. we could talk and not talk forever.
I read the news today. Oh boy. Made me sad. I'm really proud to have worked with you and so glad that such great friendships have come of it. You know I love y'all. Thanks for all the goosebumps. Long live the spirit in the 'sky. x x x x x
