Bio
The band’s first EP, Close Enough, was recorded in Atlanta, GA and mastered by Da5id Din at Corrosive Audio in San Francisco, CA. Since its release (06/2004), songs from Close Enough have received extensive club play and independent radio airplay across the world. The EP remained in the top ten playlist at the internationally acclaimed Slothradio for over 8 weeks. In addition, Close Enough earned glowing reviews from independent press and fan sites in Europe and the US.
In 2007, Opaq Face performed with The Cruxshadows and Informatik and released the Buzz Killed EP to coincide with a number of headlining shows across the southeastern United States. Dark, beautiful, twisted, and cerebral, the Buzz Killed EP delivers a maniacal, emotional performance as the band explores themes of social dogma, political insecurity, and personal evolution. Buzz Killed, like Close Enough, earned shining reviews from independent press.
2008 brought Opaq Face to Orange Peel Studio in Atlanta, GA to record a new album.
