manager at the multi award winning Zinc, now one of
the most successful nightclubs in the Middle East. Greg currently presents
the UAE's groundbreaking house music show Club Anthems on

The Strange Case of Manolo Vasquez
"Everything I do is for the music," says Manolo Vasquez, "I
have done some great things, in my time. I have traveled the world, eaten
caviar with Presidentes, and loved the ladies like my hero Richard
Gere, from American Gigolo....I do this all
for my love for this music. I hope the people will love me and accept
my music."
In case you're wondering what that’s all about… Born in Havana Cuba
to parents during the early days of the Castro regime, DJ-producer
Manolo Vasquez always dreamed of a life in music after following
his father around, a Latin-jazz musician playing in Havana's smokiest
clubs. Growing tired of poverty 11 years ago, Vasquez came to
America on a tube… Yes, a tube… 80 miles into Key West. After smuggling
himself past immigration, he found his way to South Beach Miami,
broke, hungry and with no place to live.
While working in a recording studio Manolo encountered impresario Duke
Booty, a retired pimp from the Florida area. No stranger to the life, Duke took the irresistible looking Vasquez under his wing showing him the life of easy money and teaching the skilled art of seduction in the upper social circles of Florida's wealthy, socialite housewives. "If a list came out of who I slept with
I would most likely be assassinated,” says Vasquez.
Aided by his panache and unreasonably good looks, Vasquez quickly became
one of the top male escorts in Miami catering to rich women and making
a living to support his number one habit: making house music. Currently living off his lucrative lifestyle, the very wealthy Manolo stills dreams of making it big in the world of house music. After years of secretly crafting his trade while answering the house calls of desperate housewives, he is finally ready to unveil and showcase his sound to the world. Also, Manolo claims he is ready to concentrate on being a full time producer.
