Open Casket are a four piece old school death metal onslaught from Cork. Formerly known as Mangled, we have been together (fully) since February 2006 and have been writing original metal since. We played our first gig in April 06 and we are constantly looking for more gigs. Any promoters who are looking for a band anywhere in Ireland give us a shout. Some of the highlights of our short career so far have been supporting one of our biggest influences Necrophagist in Cork in October 06, the mighty Master in February 07 and with Ephel Duath and Negura Bunget in May 07 and the legenary Suffocation in April 08. Also we have taken part in Corks ever growing Winterfest in its first two years.

Good to hear the set went well for ye. Yeah Nephridium played better that night than I had seen in a while, (not that they were bad before), they just seemed especially good that night. I got my Obituary ticket few months ago, so that's good. All systems go there. It should be a good night. Warpath are supporting, excellent band, so it should be a good night of Death Metal.
How's all with Open Casket? How did the gig with Suffocation go? It was a great night in Dublin. Pitty I didn't make more provisions though, I would have liked to have seen them in Cork, Abaddon Incarnate on the bill too.
