There are a lot more musicians, sounds and styles of music that influence each one of us personally & we like to think that we each bring something different with regards to songwriting for "open door policy". We each listen to new music each and everyday.

Open Door Policy are a 3 piece alternative rock/pop band from Dundalk in Ireland. Formed in March 2005, the line-up includes Keith McCormick (Vocals/Bass), Karl Fairman (Guitar), and Craig McCann (Drums).
Drawing from influences such as "Incubus", "Biffy Clyro" and "Jimmy Eat World" the band's sound combines infectious melody and clever dynamics to create energetic songs brimming with explosive choruses and lyrical diversity.
The band’s energetic live shows have been very well received in such high profile venues such as Vicar Street, Whelans, The Spirit Store, Temple Bar Music Centre & Cyprus Avenue. Open Door Policy have had the opportunity to play with great bands such as The Immediate, The Flaws, Evil Harrisons, Heritage Centre, All Star Charge and Panda Kopanda. Regular radio play on college and regional radio stations such as ‘phantom fm’, 'phoenix fm' & 'Dundalk fm' is helping the band steadily gain a loyal following all over the country.
The band has recorded their second e.p. "SUGAR" and is currently preparing for its release in February 2008, followed up by a nationwide tour.
