About me:
I am a teacher, a writer, and a digital storyteller. I want to help teachers, students, parents and leaders transform our schools into the learning communities our students want, deserve, and need. I also want to play a role in tangibly advancing the causes and values I believe in, which include human rights, self-determination, universal respect for human dignity, and universal literacy. I don't think governmental policies are the answer, tho they certainly can help or hinder. I believe WE are the answer.
Who I'd like to meet:
Other people who are interested in changing the world, not just in education, but in politics, social issues, and other arenas that REALLY MATTER. I am angered by poverty, corruption, the silencing of voices that deserve to be heard, deficit spending by politicians who are passing the bill on to me and my children, a welfare state that seems to be more of a problem than a solution to human needs, and many other things. I want to meet people who CARE about issues like these and want to DO THINGS about them.

Your life and liberty are under attack on many fronts. One of these, and of utmost concern to many, is the pollution of the environment and the toxic effects on our health. Studies performed by the Environmental Working Group concluded with shocking results, as they recorded unprecedented amounts of up to 209 industrial chemicals in the umbilical cords of newborn children.

Our children are brought into this world, pumped full of the toxins with which we have polluted our world and bodies. We are living in an age when new diseases are cropping up each year, and cancer rates are soaring. Government agencies like the EPA and FDA are set up to protect us from the threat of our own technological adolescence. These agencies, however, have failed miserably like so many other federal agencies, and these studies show the startling results.

Our bodies are constantly working to overcome these toxins and stay well. No wonder we suffer from stress, increased allergies, sensitivities, and even mental disorders. Many of the discovered chemicals and compounds are neurotoxins or have bioaccumulative effects, and/or are carcinogenic. Click on the links below to learn more.

Read more at Thought-Crime's blog, where we focus on government corruption, activism, current health concerns, mass media, and the new world order.
