The ideas for Operacycle songs started in San Francisco and came to fruition in Portland, OR. The "band" started as, and is once again, a single individual.
The first Album, "Warmer," was released in 2000 on Hush Records. Live shows and a short tour followed with Zak Riles from Harbor and Grails and Victor Strunk on bass. After a short time we parted ways and I began recording ideas for the next record. The ideas were recorded, but saw the light of day only through a few friends. I started playing with M. Ward for a time (and currently play with him now) and went on to play with the thermals for the next 4 years which left very little time for anything else. Now the project has been on the shelf for nearly 5 years and I have decided to put the songs up for free to download. They can be found at the Hush Records site.
The Operacycle has been waiting in basements, garages, boxes, tapes, cds, computers and my brain for the right time to resurface and hopefully the time is right now. More info can be found in a search on Google if one so desires.
Again, free album at Hush Records. (This is a zip file containing the songs.)
