Opera Dog started in 1998, working at first on my own and later joined by Marcus "Neddy" Moir. We did a batch of tunes under the dubious banner of "4 EPs". Mostly it was a sampling exercise, mashing up Adam Ant, Wire, Can, Spiritualized, Beatles, Led Zeppelin and bashing them into new forms.
In between that and the next I did Clinker, but came back to Opera Dog to do a mini-albums worth of tunes called "Water"in 2002, I think. It was more downbeat than "The 4 EPs" and didn't rely on samples at all. Marcus had long disappeared got married and moved to Kent, bless him, so I soldiered on alone.
Next came "Porno" in 2004. The main track may or may not be used for a film soon and nearly got me signed. It's got a sleazy, dirty, party feel to it. Decadent I suppose. It's not just about sex and porno, but i'll leave that open....Please indulge, feel dirty and enjoy.
