About me:
SUPPORT OUR TROOPS
"Operation Komando" is an on-going effort to supply U.S. troops in Iraq with needed everyday items.
The Kim Komando Show, working closely with the military, has developed a detailed list of items most needed by the troops. The items include AA & AAA alkaline batteries, DVD movies, cookies, watches, dried fruit, razors, baby wipes, printer cartridges and spices. Americans at home who would like to help can mail their items to an address on the site. All items will be distributed by chaplains.
The detailed listing and mailing instructions are posted at www.operationkomando.com.
TROOPS ON THE RADIO
The Kim Komando Show is the nation's largest weekend talk radio show, reaching more listeners and stations than most Monday-through-Friday national radio programs. It is broadcast on over 400 radio stations across America.
For two hours in April 2008, Kim Komando took calls solely from our troops in the war zone on her nationally syndicated weekend talk-show: The Kim Komando Show.
On April 7, Kim took calls from the 1st Battalion, 133rd Infantry Regiment (Iowa National Guard), the "Ironman" Battalion, at Al Asad Air Base. And on April 14, Kim took calls from the 1st Brigade Combat Team of the 34th Infantry Division, "The Red Bulls," at Camp Adder, Tallil Air Base.
She also took calls from soldiers at Camp Scania in central Iraq.
Thank you to all the callers and listeners supporting the show and the troops! If you missed these special broadcasts, catch the Kimcast!
