On 26th May 2008, The Old Swan Band's 'No Reels' album was re-released on CD for the first time by Free Reed as part of their 'The Second Series' re-issues. The CD includes a short film documentary by Jon Cousins on the origins of the Old Swan Band, featuring interviews with Ken Langsbury, Rod Stradling, Jo Freya, Fi Fraser, Martin Brinsford, Paul Burgess, Peter Hayes, and John Kirkpatrick, plus live footage of the band performing at Cheltenham Folk Festival.
The CD booklet features notes by Jon about making the documentary, The Old Swan Band, Plain Capers, Gloucester Old Spot Morris Dancers, Ken Langsbury, and his involvement with The Cafe Sol Band.
On 13th July 2007, selections from Jon Cousins' 'Plain Capers' documentary film were released by Free Reed as part of their 'The First Series' re-issue of John Kirkpatrick's seminal album. With booklet notes by John Kirkpatrick, Neil Wayne, and Jon Cousins.

"you made me famous for 15 minutes, Liberty Blake". A big thank you! Gary and James of The Keeps are far too modest - without them the 'Liberty Blake' recording would never have been made. It was recorded at James's studio and he engineered the session, as well as playing electric guitar throughout. Gary sang fabulously as part of the three-part harmony section. Bass and the other BVs are by my brother Si.

Hi Jon By all means, it would be great to see Speak on the Web. Check how to add vids, though. It might be better to upload to youtube and then insert into your myspace home page, as I added a video to the video section on my myspace page but you can't see it's there from my home page. Just a thought - Speak soon.. Shaun
